Summary

We do not sell personal data and we do not display advertising. This site uses a small set of essential cookies for authentication and security (CSRF protection). If you purchase a paid subscription we use Stripe to process payments.

We collect information you provide when you create or update your account and when you use the service, including name, email address, account credentials, profile information, and billing data necessary to process purchases.

How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain your account and access to the service.
  • Process payments and subscriptions via Stripe.
  • Protect the site and detect abuse (authentication, antiforgery, logging).
  • Communicate about your account, security, and updates.

Payments

We use Stripe to process payments. Stripe collects and processes payment card details; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. For more information see Stripe's privacy documentation: https://stripe.com/privacy.

Encryption & Security

We encrypt many plain-text strings in the database (for example: name, email and similar profile fields) using application-level encryption. We also use HTTPS/TLS in transit and persist Data Protection keys for antiforgery token validation. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is perfectly secure.

Cookies and Local Storage

We use a minimal set of essential cookies necessary for the service to function:

  • RetirePlanAuth — Authentication cookie used to keep you signed in. HttpOnly; Secure; SameSite=None; expires after ~14 days (sliding).
  • .AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* — Antiforgery cookie used to protect POST requests and AJAX calls (CSRF protection). Session cookie.
  • Local consent flag — We store an optional local setting (in localStorage) when you dismiss the cookie banner; this value is stored in your browser only and is not sent to the server.

We do not use third‑party advertising or analytics cookies by default. If we add optional analytics or marketing cookies in the future we will require consent and clearly describe those cookies here.

Sharing & Third Parties

We share data only as necessary to operate the service (for example, with Stripe for payments). We do not sell or trade personal data to third-party marketers.

Your Choices

  • Access or update your account information via your profile page.
  • Request deletion of your account by contacting support (see below).
  • Control cookie banner visibility using your browser settings or by clearing localStorage for this site.
